Kids Can Catch Day 2021

Please join the  Lacombe Fish & Game Association for our annual Youth Fishing Day.

When: Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 10:00am - 2:00pm
Where: Len Thompson Trout Pond, Lacombe, Alberta

Kids will have a blast catching fish and will have the chance to help restock/release fish into the pond courtesy of  Smoky Trout Farm. Bring your own rod/tackle or fishing gear is available for use by those without their own. ​Fishing instruction & mentors will be on site for new anglers.

Guests will enjoy a BBQ and refreshments supplied by the Lacombe Co-op in English Estates.

Alberta Sportfishing Regulations apply to this event. Residents of Alberta who are under 16 and over 65 years old do not need a licence to fish. Adult residents of Alberta need a licence to fish.
