Covers 75% of registration fees for youth (ages 10–17) and women (ages 18+) to attend outdoor education camps up to $400 per person.
Eligibility Preferences:
• Should be a resident of Lacombe or Lacombe County, must be a resident of Alberta.
• Residents of Lacombe or Lacombe County may apply with no direct connection to LFGA.
• Residents outside of Lacombe or Lacombe County may apply as long as they have been a member of, or have a parent or grandparent that has been, a LFGA member for minimum of 2 years.
• Must demonstrate interest in conservation, outdoor education, hunting, or fishing.
• Preference given to applicants involved in conservation initiatives or outdoor volunteer work.
Application Requirement:
• Completion of Online Application Form at www.lfga.ca/bursary
• Personal Statement (250 words max) Why do you want to attend this camp, and how will this experience benefit you?
• Confirmation of Registration – LFGA will reimburse the applicant within 4 weeks of a successful application.
